We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Florence, AL. As a key member of our facility's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our facility, allowing our residents and patients to receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including janitorial duties, painting, and minor repairs
- Assist with custodial services, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of services, including moving furniture and equipment as needed
- Operate and maintain various equipment, including vending machines and medical devices
- Restock supplies and materials throughout the facility
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial services preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
