Description
Anthem Parkside at Merrill Ranch in Florence, Arizona is a vibrant all‑ages community offering resort‑style living. The 43,000 sq. ft. recreation center features a lap pool with diving boards and a waterpark with waterslides, a state‑of‑the‑art fitness center, a full‑size gymnasium, classrooms, game room, and seasonal café. Outdoor amenities include sports courts, pocket parks, a large community park with ball fields, a playground, splash pad, multipurpose fields, dog parks, an 18‑hole golf course, and a restaurant.
PositionSummary
Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, building systems, common areas and other physical assets within a residential Homeowner’s Association (HOA).
Position Responsibilities- Partner with the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor to maintain buildings, building systems, common areas and other physical assets on the property.
- Perform duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, pressure washing, welding and any other maintenance needs related to the designated property.
- Perform regular maintenance of pools, spa, sauna, steam room, and water features, if applicable.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
- Complete grounds work, which may include trash cleanup, sweeping, and pressure washing.
- Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
- Serve as point of contact for after‑hour calls and emergencies.
- Operate, maintain, and store all maintenance equipment properly.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
- Consistently meet AAM’s standards of service and interact with residents and staff in a professional, gracious, and friendly manner.
- Possess skill and ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Manage time by organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment and chemicals, painting, drywall, welding and other applicable maintenance skills.
- Complete tasks from start to finish in a quality manner, on time, within budget and while meeting applicable codes.
- Gather and analyze information, seek input and make sound decisions.
- Work as part of a team and independently.
- Pay above‑average attention to detail.
- Work at a faster‑than‑average pace.
- Work indoors and outdoors.
- Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
- Stand and walk for extended periods in crowded areas and confined spaces.
- Work on uneven surfaces in hot, cold, and wet conditions; climb and stand on ladders and scaffolding up to 50 feet.
- Handle various manual and power tools.
- May work independently or as part of a team.
- Lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
