Electrical Controls Material Coordinator

This position will collaborate with multiple departments and project teams to provide materials to Electrical Field Installation crews. Candidate must be a self‑directed highly motivated professional that can multitask and work within an ever‑changing project schedule. Must be familiar with the electrical nomenclature and concepts. Knowledge of electrical components is required. Excellent communication is essential for project execution and troubleshooting issues.

Must be able to work independently and with a sense of urgency, specifically where design changes and project schedule changes are involved. Oversee all electrical/controls materials at the warehouse.

• Receive shipments from vendors: inspect and verify count against shipping documents, barcode components using Auto Desk ACC, locate the decoder tracker#, apply the barcode, take and upload photos to ACC, consolidate by project and kit number for rapid deployment to the field based on project installation sequence.
• Receive shipments of returned goods from projects: vet the parts for quality and whether they meet specifications, barcode components using Auto Desk ACC, locate the decoder tracker#, apply the barcode, take and upload photos to ACC.
• Ship electrical materials to project sites: pull parts as demanded by the project schedule (qty and onsite date), stage parts for shipment (repackaging if necessary and stretch wrapping), work with transportation to schedule transportation of the electrical components to the project sites.
• Capable of managing a small crew (1–2 people); crew may flex in size and could be full‑time, temp or contract labor. Direct the crew’s workload to focus on project deliverables and due on‑site dates.
• Enforce, create and/or revise work processes. Lead by example to meet or exceed safety protocols for the team.
• Prepare and update KPIs to track performance.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software, with special emphasis on Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP and/or WMS environments.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar software.
• Ability to operate a 6000lb forklift and obtain the company‑issued operator’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with material management (electrical is a plus).
• Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and make oneself understood to all Spanish‑speaking individuals.
• Ability to understand electrical nomenclature.
