Temporary Maintenance Turn- Haven Athens

Job Description

The Temporary Turn Associate is a temporary position that will provide temporary assistance during turn. This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure that established quality standards are met upon move-in.

• Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties such as painting, minor drywall repairs, replacing batteries, light bulbs, blinds, doors, caulking, power washing, trash removal, and furniture removal/install.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing general cleaning and other duties as needed.
• Assist in cleaning available apartments and/or models.
• Perform touch-up painting as directed by the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, and report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouses, and common areas.
• Participate in apartment inspections and assist in documenting overall unit condition.
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris and trash.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure adherence to the company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by treating residents, vendors, and other team members with respect.
• Maintain an excellent customer service attitude.

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
