Technical Service Farm Operations Worker – Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center (Franklin County, PA)

The Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Technical Service Farm Operations Worker to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our farm, equipment, and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, functional, and well‑maintained environment for our horses, riders, and programs.

• Mow fields and maintain grounds
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractor
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on gator/utility vehicle
• Repair and maintain fencing as needed
• Maintain and repair automatic waterers
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor electrical upkeep
• Drag and maintain three riding arenas
• Drag and maintain turn‑out fields
• Troubleshoot and repair general facility issues as they arise
• Assist during volunteer workdays with setup, projects, and coordination
• All other duties as assigned by the Stable Manager, Program Director, or 4-H Youth Development Educator

• Clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check (must operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties)
