Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the (Student Only) part-time position of Custodial Services Worker. This position will help with the maintenance and operations of Gateway campuses.
The Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS. KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
Work schedule:

- Room setup/breakdown

- Stooping, kneeling or crouching

- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time.
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Capable of following direction and working on their own.
- Dependable and able to work well with others.
- Janitorial, mechanical, and/or painting experience.
