EVS Attendant - Part Time & Full Time

The EVS Attendant keeps all areas of the property clean and in orderly condition by performing the following essential duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, sanitizing, and mopping surfaces including floors throughout the facility (including hallways).
• Sanitizing restrooms, public and non-public areas multiple times during shift.
• Cleaning carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, trash cans, ash trays, and interior walls.
• Sweeping around chairs, tables, and games.
• Sanitizing all touch points throughout the facility.
• Cleaning and sanitizing chairs, handrails, doors, tables, and games throughout the facility.
• Collecting and removing trash throughout interior and exterior public and non-public areas.
• Operating electric-powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
• Notifying management concerning the need for repairs or deep cleaning.
• May be responsible for cleaning smoking sections.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required skills and abilities include:

Education and experience:

GED or High School diploma or up to 1 month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to obtain KY Racing License.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The Team Member frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
