MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
-3RD Shift Mechanic
-MIDNIGHT - 8AM
Full Time, Spartanburg, SC, US
Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
Payrate: $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience
General Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance
- Troubleshooting Machines
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Recommend safety improvements
- Comply with all safety and management programs
- Be an active participant in work team development
- Keep workplace clean and orderly
- Provide on-the-job training as assigned by supervisor for other employees
- Operations of multimeter and amp meter
- Preventative maintenance
- Changing bearings, various types of shafts, gearboxes, sprockets and chains
- Belt replacement and tracking
- Pneumatic replacement and/or rebuild
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams and schematics
- Programming PLCs, soft starts and inverters
- Voltage 24V up to 575V
- Welding and fabrication
- Operation of forklift
- Operation of scissor lift
- Capable of performing tasks including but not limited to working at heights and working in confined spaces
- Able to read, write and convey ideas
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds with adequate body flexibility
