Ranches at Lake McLeod is excited to announce the exceptional career of opportunity of a Houseperson. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
$18/hr, Part-time position. Availability to work weekends is required.
Key Responsibilities- Completes cleaning and maintenance related duties as assigned including sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
- Updates Supervisor of needed supplies.
- Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning.
- Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a necessary level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
- Inspects Clubhouse and surrounding amenities daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Security procedures and precautions must be followed at all times.
- Completes daily work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
- Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
- Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, and crouches.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level.
- Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform duties.
- Potential shift schedule: 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm; hours may vary based on operational and seasonal needs.
- Uniform:
Polo with khaki pants (khaki or navy) and sneakers (uniform may be provided in the near future).
