- Perform daily sanitation walks, temp checks, and fire extinguisher reviews
- Building grounds and maintenance, light cleaning, debris removal, pressure washing
- Assist in coordinating preventive maintenance schedules across building systems and equipment
- Conduct routine walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or facility wear and tear
- Ensure maintenance activities support food safety, operational uptime, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as a backup, onsite, SQF practitioner
- Track maintenance requests, vendor visits, and work completion using approved tools or logs
- Maintain clear records of recurring issues, emergency events, and vendor performance
- Communicate trends, risks, and recommended improvements to facility leadership and corporate teams
- Review findings, upcoming maintenance needs, schedules and concerns with both Facilities and Operations teams so that information flows freely through the company.
- High school diploma
- One year of a trade school preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in facility maintenance coordination, building operations, or warehouse support roles
- Experience supporting third-party maintenance vendors in a warehouse, manufacturing, or cold-storage environment preferred

- Strong working knowledge of building systems and common facility maintenance needs
- Working knowledge of reading plans and specs in multiple overlay formats
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, technicians, and warehouse leadership
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously
- Proactive identification of issues before they disrupt operations
- Strong follow-through with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Practical judgment about when to self-perform vs. elevate to third-party specialists
