WhatWill You Be Doing at Woodard & Curran?
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our water and wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations in LaBelle, Florida. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment, vehicles, and systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
The Maintenance Technician performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across a wide range of mechanical equipment and infrastructure, working closely with site leadership to meet operational goals.
ScheduleMonday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
The role requires availability for weekend or holiday work, on-call rotations, and emergency response as needed. A company-provided phone will be issued.
What Will You Need to Succeed?- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience maintaining equipment used in water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pumps, motors, collection systems, chemical feed systems, and landscape maintenance equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read meters, gauges, drawings, panels, and other technical materials.
- Basic proficiency in reading, math, writing, and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Willingness to work varied schedules and respond to emergencies as required.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a DOT background check, DOT pre-placement physical and DOT drug screen before employment.
