Overview

As a residential Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best.

Responsibilities
  • Use three-plus years of experience in property maintenance to address work orders before issues become major problems.
  • Handle light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and work with HVAC systems.
  • Proactively maintain routine maintenance and general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse.
  • Engage with residents in their units and on the property with a friendly and efficient approach.
  • Commit to a safety‑first approach, creating a safe environment for both the team and residents.
  • Work full‑time Monday through Friday, with occasional on‑call hours as required by the Property Management team.
  • Maintain your own tool kit; use company‑owned or personal vehicle to move about the property or pick up supplies, and hold a valid driver’s license.
Schedule & Requirements
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus scheduled on‑call hours and occasional weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or to use personal vehicle for work.
  • Must own a personal tool kit.

  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Pay excellent attention to detail, ensuring all jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Be familiar with a variety of tools and materials needed for residential maintenance.
  • Communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity, take responsibility, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Manage time effectively and meet goals and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
  • Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial residential environment, including light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
  • At least 18 years of age, own personal tools, and hold a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hands to manipulate tools or operate equipment; adequate vision and stamina required.
  • Stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various weather conditions.
