Job Summary

Ensure the physical aspects of the community are maintained, including grounds, amenities, and curb appeal, and provide support to the service team. Property type:

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, with flexible call‑in hours for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensuring all common areas and amenities remain neat and free of litter.

Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transfer trash to the dumpster or storage area, and maintain storage areas.

Complete assigned minor and routine service requests requested by the Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turn process.

Change all locks in accordance with the property’s policy and ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards.

Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary.

Inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests, and others.

Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services.

Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies by attending routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety‑related laws, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
Work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, or business meetings.
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $16.00 – $17.00. Compensation may be enhanced with quarterly or annual bonus programs for corporate positions, or weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonuses for onsite positions.
