Floor Technician (Full Time)

Location: MDT – 201 Sabanetas Industrial Park, Ponce, PR 00716.
Schedule: Full time, 2nd shift. Online applications only.

Pay: Fixed $11.50 per hour.

Job Summary: Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Complete other duties as assigned by manager.

• Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
