Shaner Hotels offers a position for an Engineer at its Madeira Beach Courtyard, located in St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach. The role involves upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units in accordance with company standards.

• Manage upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units.
• Ensure customer‑service orientation and strive to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Adhere to standard maintenance procedures, safety rules, and departmental protocols.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and assist with inventories as scheduled.
• Work full‑time with benefits; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

• Minimum two years of experience, preferably in a hotel; franchised hotel experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building, including chemical handling and disposal.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Positive interaction with hotel personnel and prompt problem resolution.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Full time position with benefits. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
