Part-Time Day Porter

GDIT / ARMA-Global is seeking part-time Day Porter to join our team and support facility cleaning that enables contract delivery. The successful candidate must be professional, energetic, and reliable. This position reports directly to the contract Program Manager.

Under general supervision, the individual will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and reporting any issues to Program Manager to resolve.

This is a part-time employment position not expected to exceed 20 hours a week.

ARMA-global will provide all cleaning supplies and access to facilities.

General cleaning will be performed by Part Time (4 hours) Day Porter with duties during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 5 days a week.

Basic

Duties Include:

DAILY:

• Clean and sanitize all restroom fixtures and dispensers.
• Mop restroom floors.
• Clean restroom mirrors.
• Empty all waste receptacles and replace can liners.
• Clean and disinfect break room counters, appliances, and sink.
• Sweep all vinyl composite floors.

2 DAYS PER WEEK:

• Clean doors, switch plates, signage plaques and vertical glass surfaces
• Police exterior walkway.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Wipe down all high touch points with disinfectant.
• Mop all vinyl composite floors.

WEEKLY:

• Dust all horizontal work surfaces and cabinet tops (do not bother papers on desks)
• Wipe down trash receptacles as needed.

MONTHLY:

• Dust all high points.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen able to pass a background check.
• May be processed for a Secret Clearance.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
