Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain carpeted flooring by vacuuming, spot cleaning or extracting, and using a wet‑dry cleaning machine. Vacuum walk‑off mats, upholstered furnishings, and fabric pattern furniture.
- Clean and maintain tile, wood, and concrete flooring by sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping. Apply floor stripper, sealer and finish, and restoration products. Use an automatic floor scrubber, wet vacuum, and buffers and burnishers to strip and maintain floors.
- Dust and wet‑clean horizontal and vertical surfaces including tables, chairs, counters, desks, bookshelves, sills and ledges, diffusers, vents, walls, elevator tracks, doors, marker and chalk boards, trays, interior glass and windows, venetian blinds, etc.
- Clean and sanitize water coolers and public restrooms. Restock supplies of tissue, towels, and hand soap.
- Empty waste receptacles and remove trash and other debris, excluding hazardous and toxic materials and materials deposited in "SHARP" boxes.
