job description

maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation. Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with patient care. Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems, performing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs all hvac mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under general supervision.

Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls under general supervision. Other duties as assigned.
