Live Trends Design Group LLC seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead facility operations for our creative manufacturing campus in Apopka, FL. This role oversees building systems, production support areas, and grounds to ensure a safe, reliable, and inspiring environment for creating fashion-forward live-plant décor. You will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise technicians and vendors, manage inspections and compliance, and partner closely with operations and horticulture teams.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on industrial maintenance experience, strong organization, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations for manufacturing and office spaces in Apopka, FLPlan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, equipment, and production areas
- Supervise and develop a small maintenance team and outside vendors, ensuring safety, quality, and responsiveness
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems to minimize downtime and support production
- Implement and track preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and asset records using maintenance software or logs
- Partner with manufacturing, horticulture, and design teams to support equipment reliability and layout changes
- Oversee facility repairs, inspections, and code compliance, coordinating with landlords, inspectors, and contractors
- Manage facilities and maintenance budgets, quotes, and inventory of critical spare parts and consumables
- Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives, including OSHA compliance and safe work practices
- Recommend and drive continuous improvement projects that enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of facilities
