• Check and clean facilities and exterior grounds, and pick up debris/litter from around buildings, parking lots, and dumpster areas.
• Sweep or blow off sidewalks/walkways around buildings.
• Empty exterior trash receptacles as needed.
• General cleaning of building interiors including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash receptacles, and surface cleaning.
• Secondary restroom check/cleaning and ensure disposable supplies are adequately stocked.
• Perform building safety checks and report all unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, Building Superintendents, and supervisors.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.
* On-Call Required

Minimum Qualifications
:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with small tools and lightweight maintenance equipment.

Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years.

CJIS Clearance: The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

Starting Pay: $16.50 (Step
1)
Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
