this is an on-site position located in tallahassee, fl

position overview and responsibilities:

moderately skilled work in the inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and replacement of all irrigation systems at all dms managed properties in tallahassee.

specific duties:

repairs, overhauls and replaces defective parts on irrigation systems.
performs preventive maintenance on irrigation systems.
maintain an accurate inventory of irrigation parts.
complete work orders and submit paperwork in a timely matter.

knowledge, skills, and abilities:

ability to work alone when assigned
ability to model behaviors of accountability, communication, empowerment, flexibility, respect, integrity, and teamwork

licensure/registration/certification requirements (if applicable, list the appropriate florida statute or federal regulation cite):

valid driver’s license.

minimum qualifications:

prior experience and knowledge of irrigation systems.
a valid driver’s license.
ability to spend prolonged periods of time walking, standing, bending, climbing and exerting up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
