At RISE Sereno, we’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who takes ownership of the community and pride in the work. Someone who can organize the day, coach a technician, troubleshoot a difficult repair, and keep residents informed along the way.

You’ll lead the maintenance operation while staying involved in the work. From preventive maintenance and apartment turns to emergency repairs, you’ll help set the standard for how the community looks, feels, and functions.

• Lead daily maintenance operations, prioritizing service requests, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance.
• Work alongside the maintenance team to diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Set clear expectations, train team members, and follow up to make sure work is completed correctly.
• Coordinate apartment turns with the office team, so homes are ready when promised.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment to identify repairs and safety concerns.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, checking the quality and completion of their work.
• Manage maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory with attention to costs and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates, delays, and recurring concerns to the Property Manager.
• Follow safe work practices and help ensure the team does the same.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.

• Previous apartment maintenance experience and experience leading or supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general repairs.
• EPA certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Ability to organize competing priorities without losing track of unfinished work.
• A hands‑on leadership style with the patience to teach and the follow‑through to hold standards.
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, coworkers, and vendors.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to completing repairs properly.
• Availability to participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

You like knowing what needs to be done and having a plan to get there. You’re comfortable taking the lead, but you’re just as willing to pick up your tools and help. You understand that a quick response matters—and so does a repair that lasts.
