Part‑Time Park Workers
Gilchrist County is looking for motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Parks team. We have several part-time positions available and are looking for people who take pride in their work and are willing to help wherever needed.
Duties may include:
- Mowing, weed eating, and general grounds work
- Grounds, park, and facility maintenance
- Gatehouse operations and cashier/customer service
- Janitorial and facility cleaning
- Assisting park guests and providing friendly customer service
- Setting up and cleaning up for park activities and events
- Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for applicants who:

- Are motivated and willing to work
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Are friendly and professional when working with the public
- Are willing and able to perform indoor and outdoor duties
- Can perform the physical duties associated with grounds and park maintenance
- Have flexible availability, as schedules may vary and include weekends and holidays
Position Information:
- Part‑time positions
- Starting pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour
, depending on position and experience - Florida Retirement System (FRS) retirement benefits
- Successful completion of a background screening and drug test is required
