• Wiz Kids Sports Camps are seasonal youth sports camps that offer athletic and academic enrichment to participants.
• Various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan Area

Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking enthusiastic and positive Summer Camp Modern Dance Junior Associates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

• The Modern Dance Junior Associate is responsible for assisting in teaching fundamental skills as well as more advanced strategy.
• Guides campers through the day ‒ to‑day activities of the overall camp experience.
• Teaches sound technique classes based on current best practices for the physical and developmental health of the student.
• Develop critical artistic sensibilities.
• Instill skills and lessons that go beyond the studio.
• Assist in choreographing the end of session camper showcase.
• Teaches campers basic dance steps and more advanced steps where applicable.
• Instill an appreciation for dance.
• Gives individual help as needed.
• Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper related issues by communication clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff.
• Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5‑4).
• Additional duties as contracted.

Prior Modern Dance related experience at the elementary or high school level.

• Must be High school grad, current undergrad student or post grad student

• Homewood‑Flossmoor High School: $15/hr
• Whitney Young High School: $17/hr
