SALARY:

- Deliver engaging, rigorous English Language Arts instruction aligned to Illinois Learning Standards.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to improve student learning.
- Use student achievement data to inform instruction and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Build strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success.

Position Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, rigorous English Language Arts instruction aligned to Illinois Learning Standards.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to improve student learning.
- Use student achievement data to inform instruction and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Build strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate English Language Arts endorsement.
- Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to equity, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
- Master's degree in English, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Honors, or Dual Credit English courses.
- Experience implementing culturally responsive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
- Demonstrated success using assessment data to improve student outcomes.
- Experience integrating instructional technology to enhance student learning.
- Active participation in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and collaborative instructional planning.
