Overnight Stocking Manager - Flossmoor, IL

Position Overview

We are looking for an Overnight Stocking Manager to support our Flossmoor, IL Store location. The Overnight Stocking Manager is responsible for overall team member engagement during the overnight span of care, driving recognition, feedback, coaching, performance management, training, development, and succession planning. The manager directly leads Leads and Team Leaders, and is ultimately accountable for area operations and financials, including shrink, productivity, safety, scheduling, forecasting staffing needs, and conflict resolution for team members and customers.

Additionally, the Overnight Stocking Manager identifies and implements process improvements while stewarding the Meijer culture.

• Engage with team members in the span of care to ensure they receive appropriate onboarding, training, development, and coaching to be successful.
• Identify talent and engage in career discussions to support overall store staffing and maintain a diversified talent pipeline strategy for team member and leadership roles.
• Participate in candid discussions with team members to ensure Meijer standards are upheld and provide opportunities for growth.
• Account for area operations and financial results by overseeing execution of corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity, owning budget line items in the P&L.
• Drive safety and compliance throughout the store and oversee overall condition management, following all compliance procedures.
• Ensure Team Leaders and Leads provide guidance, assign daily work, and address training needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry‑leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated focus on safety and a commitment to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times.

• Strong understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising to meet customer needs and drive sales and market share.

Pay range: $48,250.00 – $75,750.00 based on qualifications and experience. Incentive bonus opportunities may vary based on individual and company performance.
