The Maintenance Technician is a hands‑on role dedicated to ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness of our home office and clinic locations across Texas and Oklahoma. Operating out of our Flower Mound office, this position executes routine building maintenance, equipment repairs, and logistical support as directed by the Facilities Supervisor.
General Maintenance & Repairs- Perform internal and external building maintenance, including structural repairs to windows, doors, and drywall.
- Execute basic carpentry, painting, and touch‑ups to interior and exterior visual standards.
- Address minor plumbing issues, including clearing basic clogs, resolving leaks, and maintaining drainage systems.
- Utilize basic electrical capabilities to troubleshoot, repair, or install light fixtures and switches.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment for operational efficiency.
- Assemble and install office furniture, recreational and basic clinic equipment.
- Manage, organize, and maintain inventory within designated company storage units.
- Coordinate, distribute, and track facility supplies, materials, and equipment across locations.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and professional presentation of the clinic space.
- Assess facility projects and provide practical recommendations on scope and course of action.
- Compile clear, accurate activity reports and task summaries.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in general commercial maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade contractor role. - Technical
Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in carpentry, basic plumbing, and electrical systems. - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally with employees and clients. - Organizational
Skills:
Excellent time‑management capabilities with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks independently. - Travel:
Ability to travel to clinic locations in Texas and Oklahoma as operationally required.
Prolonged standing, walking, and sitting are required. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds. Requires working under stressful conditions to meet demand. Requires problem‑solving skills.
