This is a part-time, on-site Custodian role based in Flowood, MS. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary facilities by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in offices, churches, warehouses, stadiums, and gymnasiums. Daily tasks may include emptying trash and recycling, cleaning restrooms and break areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas and event spaces. The role also involves assisting with one-time event cleanings before, during, and after events, as well as performing basic floor care such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and refinishing as needed.

The Custodian will use cleaning equipment and products safely, follow established checklists, and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors in a timely manner.

• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation.
• Experience or willingness to learn floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and refinishing on various floor types.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and safety procedures consistently.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed, and to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team, including evenings or weekends based on client needs.
• Basic communication skills to understand instructions, complete simple documentation, and interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality standards in diverse settings such as offices, churches, and event venues.
