Apartment Maintenance Tech in Flowood

Job Description

One, possibly two apartment maintenance technicians needed. PLEASE read full job description and qualifications needed. READY TO HIRE! This is a FULLTIME / PERMANENT position! MUST BE EPA CERTIFIED! Pay starts at $22 - 25-hour D.O.E. with a possible raise after 13 weeks.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Perform routine repairs and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain and service HVAC systems to ensure proper operation
• Inspect and repair electrical systems within the apartment community
• Handle plumbing maintenance and repairs efficiently
• Repair and maintain appliances as needed
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize system failures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance issues
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Flooring
• Painting (interior and exterior)
• Assist in custodial work when needed
• Inspections

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in apartment or building maintenance
• Ability to retain information regarding contracts, suppliers, services, goods and prices
• MUST be EPA Certified
• MUST have a valid Mississippi driver's license
