Environmental Services Worker II; PRN

Position: Environmental Services Worker II (PRN, Days)
Community Health Systems - 1026 North Flowood Drive - Responsibilities:
Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing to maintain cleanliness and safety;
Collect, remove, and dispose of waste including biohazardous and infectious materials following policies and guidelines;
Handle soiled linens with proper containment and replacement with clean bags;
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas following infection-control standards;
Respond to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety precautions;
Move furniture, floor mats, and equipment as needed for cleaning or relocations;
Monitor cleaning supply usage and ensure safe storage and cost-control measures;
Communicate maintenance and repair needs to supervisor or facilities department for timely resolution;
Maintain accurate cleaning logs and report completed tasks
