, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

Birchwood Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr and Forest Lake. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

Full-Time Day Shift
Wage: $22.00-$26.00/hour, based on experience

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Duties include:

• Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
• Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
• Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
• Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
• Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
• Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in health care is preferred
• Ability to participate in annual reviews with wage increases
