Full‑time high‑school teaching position.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Education/Training: Minimum of a Master’s degree in biology, a biological science, biology education, a Medical Doctor degree, Osteopathic Doctor degree, Doctor in Chiropractic degree (accepted to teach Anatomy & Physiology), or Master’s in Biology Education +18 hours of graduate work in the specific biological discipline.
- Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for grades 9‑12.
- Endorsement: Science – Biology (Grades 9‑12).
- Knowledge/Abilities/
Skills:
Ability to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
- Doctorate Degree
- College teaching experience;
Medical Doctor, Doctor in Chiropractic, Doctoral degree in biology, a biological science, or biology education. - Previous high‑school teaching experience
- Certified ESL High School or Bilingual Certification
- Bilingual Endorsement (grades 9‑12)
- ESL Endorsement (grades 9‑12)
