General Description:
Primary
Purpose:
Coordinate and assure data quality of records for ISBE reporting and leadership teams, complete designated ISBE reports, and conduct program evaluations. The Data Coordinator analyzes and monitors reporting capabilities for the District.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following required education, certification, skills, experience and/or qualifications. Employees are responsible for obtaining/retaining the most current statutory and administrative rule requirements for their position.
- Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution.
- Licensure:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred
- Endorsement:
- General Administrative endorsement, Principal Endorsement or comparable out of state certification preferred
- Experience:
- Previous successful school administrator preferred
- Previous successful teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:
- Experience in analysis of assessment data, evaluation, and school/district improvement processes: planning, goal setting, strategic planning, and systems evaluation.
- Strong statistical, analytical and research skills.
- Knowledge of Illinois State Board of Education reporting requirements and school improvement processes.
- Familiarity with student information systems.
- Effective project management, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
Perform written and verbal and presentations as necessary - Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to represent student and district needs in a positive and professional manner
- Collaborative leadership.
- Deep understanding of best practices in school improvement and use of data in supporting and facilitating change.
- Ability to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
- Use of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education.

o Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
o Master's/Doctorate degree.
o Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
o Experience working in English Language Learner and Special Education programming.
