POSITION TITLE:

Homebound Tutors

REPORTS TO:

Coordinator I - Special Education

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience or Training
Valid Professional Educators Teaching License with endorsements in:
English, Mathematics, LBSI, Science and/or Social Studies
Desired Experience or Training
Previous Homebound Tutoring experience POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach prescribed academic coursework.

Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments.

Travel to students' homes.

Coordinate and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessions

Maintain accurate records

Work 2-3 nights after school, approximately 2-3 hours per night

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to coordinate student assignments during time of absence.

Ability to communicate with student's teachers about progress and/or assignment completion.

Ability to communicate with home to schedule hours of tutoring.

Progress monitor students work.
