There is an opening for a special education instructional assistant for the school year. The individual filling this position must possess a valid Paraprofessional License registered in Region 06 (call West 40 for short term fast approval information).
The Special Education Teacher's Aide supports students with significant academic, behavioral, developmental, and communication needs within a highly structured classroom environment. This role works under the direct supervision of a certified Special Education Teacher to implement individualized education programs (IEPs), assist with visual schedules and structured teaching systems, collect data, manage personal care needs such as toileting, and support student safety.
