Location: Forrest Park, Illinois (on-site)
Pay Range: $64,000 - $75,000 / year depending on experience

Job OverviewHandles installation, configuration, and ongoing support of complex systems and equipment. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, implements preventative maintenance, and develops process documentation for reliability and safety. Evaluates system performance, recommends solutions, and may coordinate technical activities across teams. Applies engineering knowledge and proven methods to ensure efficient operations and equipment lifecycle support.
Primaryjobdutiesandresponsibilitiesmayinclude,butarenotlimitedtothefollowing:- Deliver on-site service and remote troubleshooting support for equipment and control systems
- Install, validate, and maintain industrial devices and machinery
- Collaborate across departments to ensure reliable system performance
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide service work
- Document processes, service records, and technical findings accurately
- Apply engineering methods and technical expertise to evaluate and improve equipment performance
- Background in maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical systems (hands‑on or classroom experience)
- Familiarity with industrial control systems and general automation concepts
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- Strong problem‑solving and documentation skills
- Understanding of lifecycle maintenance and reliability practices
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) preferred
- Exposure to robotics is a plus, but not required
