Material Handler​/Forklift Driver, 2nd Shift - Forest Park, IL

Job Overview

Title:

Material Handler/Forklift Driver – On‑site at Forest Park, Illinois.

Hours:

4:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. This position requires overtime, varying start/end times, and weekends as needed.

• Transport products, packaging, and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and trailers.
• Organize packaging and return areas; load or unload trailers.
• Complete daily checklist form; replenish fluids and generate maintenance work request forms for repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Pick and stage packaging and supplies at work sites.
• Receive materials from production by verifying and identifying information and quantity; place materials in inventory.
• Verify case/pallet counts and patterns; report any discrepancies to the floor or department supervisor.
• Conduct assigned work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety methods.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation process.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area at all times.
• Maintain inventory control system by tracking, moving, and shipping the product using SAP system and/or Excel spreadsheet.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience, including proven skills in safe operation of a Reach Truck, Standup Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack.
• Ability to operate a Reach and Standup Forklift, hand jack, and stretch-wrapper.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Promote teamwork, possess a good attitude, and exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed.

Driver

Pay: $25 per hour. Eligible employees receive health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k), paid time off (PTO), and an annual bonus based on company performance.
