Shift: Second Shift (2nd shift start around 2 pm and work 9–12 hrs. per shift depending on the day)

- The maintenance team regularly works 6–7 days per week depending on business needs.
- A consistent Monday–Saturday schedule is required.
- During plant shutdowns, major maintenance projects, or production demands, employees may be required to work a seventh day (Sunday).
Hourly rate: $37.55 – $39.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permitted by applicable law.
- Overtime paid after 8 hours worked per day

An established food manufacturing company in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join its second‑shift maintenance team.
This senior‑level position is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance improvements, and technical leadership within the maintenance department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, mentoring fellow technicians, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

- Lead advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC‑controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to implement long‑term corrective actions.
- Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS system.
- Mentor maintenance technicians by sharing technical knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
- Partner with supervisors, planners, and project teams to prioritize maintenance activities and planned shutdowns.
- Promote safe work practices while maintaining a clean and organized maintenance environment.
- Support additional maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrated success troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment
- Strong working knowledge of reading electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong root cause analysis and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while providing technical leadership to other maintenance personnel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Food manufacturing experience
- Previous mentoring or maintenance leadership experience
- Experience supporting reliability or continuous improvement initiatives
