Facilities Custodian

QinetiQ Inc. is looking to hire experienced Facilities Custodian at our Fort Belvoir, VA customer location. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, kitchens, common areas and restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, ensuring spaces are prepared for the next day, washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and showers, wiping mirrors and windows, washing windows, collecting and taking out trash and recycling, dusting all surfaces, waxing floors, changing air filters and cleaning vents, maintaining all cleaning equipment, properly handling chemicals, reporting major damages and overseeing repairs, maintaining a thorough inventory, ordering new cleaning supplies as needed, using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaner, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications include active DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, experience working on site at a USG building providing custodial services, experience using cleaning equipment to ensure offices, conference rooms, restrooms are cleaned and maintained to ensure good working conditions, reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor, ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision, good communication and teamwork skills, and adaptable to different environments and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications include three (3)+ years experience as a Facility Custodian working on USG contracts/facilities.

The salary range for this role is $70,000- $80,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
