About the Role

This position performs general maintenance and repairs on building and equipment such as pumps, motors, and other plant machinery. The position requires practical skills and knowledge in various mechanical and chemistry areas.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Replace filters, belts, pumps and motors, clean, paint, change fluids and filters.
  • Work on top of buildings, in mechanical rooms, outdoors, etc. to do routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Consistently produce quality products and service.
  • Complete all training within required timeline.
  • Perform all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in a variety of building and/or utility trades.
  • Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for an equivalent year of required experience.
  • Successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier
    1) background check.
  • Maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Ability to work in a high‑volume office area and interface positively with co‑workers and customers.
  • Ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Display courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Accurately maintain and update records for quick and efficient retrieval of information.
  • Work independently.
  • Speak, read, and write English.
  • Be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high‑volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Carry ladders, work in small spaces over periods of time, and work at all heights.
  • Lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Sit, stand, bend, climb ladders (up to 40 feet), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist for varying periods; use hands and fingers to grasp tools; make repetitive hand and body motions; twist and reach below and above shoulder; lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds; communicate with co‑workers using a two‑way radio, telephone, or written means.
  • Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to low to loud noise levels, various weather conditions, dust, particulates, hazardous substances, and high voltage.
  • Work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer’s mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Hold a valid state driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • Successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.

US Pay Range: $27.96 – $27.96 USD
