PositionSummary
This position reports directly to the Senior Coordinator, Recreation – Facilities & Operations. This position provides support in the areas of facility, program, and event preparation. Sets up and dismantles equipment, tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, marker boards, flip charts, and kitchen equipment in all areas of the facility. Assists clients and full-time staff as needed. In addition, performs custodial responsibilities throughout the facility as required to maintain facility appearance, service to public and operational status.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Functions as a member of a team and works with that team to provide specific activities, resources, and services to the public.
- Sets-up and dismantles equipment throughout the facility.
- Maintains audio visual equipment and supplies, facilitates repairs, and maintains inventory.
- Is responsible for all the needs of the programs and activities while on duty.
- Coordinates with the Facility Supervisor to provide a well-maintained and clean facility.
- Provides custodial services throughout the facility as needed and reports any deficiencies to supervisor.
- Monitors and secures the facility as needed.
- Shovels snow and maintains sidewalks and patio as needed.
This position is not responsible for the supervision of employees.

- Ability to use table and chair dollies, kitchen equipment, carpet vacuum, snow blower, upholstery cleaner, hammer, screw drivers, ladders, paint equipment and various hand tools, standard office equipment including copiers, computers, audio-visual equipment, and motor vehicles.
