This position is located within the Maintenance Branch at the United States Bullion Depository of the United States Mint in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Duties will include janitorial services, basic facility maintenance, operating a motor vehicle and stocking supplies throughout the building. The employee will be required to pick up all necessary supplies that range from cleaning supplies, office supplies, maintenance supplies, restroom supplies and all furniture needed.
PHYSICALEFFORT
Employee lifts and moves various items that can weigh up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Occasionally moves items that weigh 100 pounds with assistance of various moving equipment. Physical effort could also include changing a tire and making limited emergency repairs on vehicle. Mowing the grass and snow removal requires physical efforts in various types of weather. You must show in your experience in the online application that you possess the knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
KEYREQUIREMENTS
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
You must meet the screen‑out element Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen‑out element, applicants must have used knowledge or ability; but I have been closely supervised. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified.
