Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator

Pride Staff is seeking an experienced, proactive Maintenance Technician for a local client in the Sunrise area. This role is designed for a versatile professional who takes true "ownership" of a facility. You will be responsible for keeping the building operational, safe, and pristine-identifying and repairing issues before they worsen and ensuring the environment meets the highest standards of function and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Integrity: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all structural and mechanical systems are operating at peak efficiency.
• Environmental Control: Maintain building equipment to regulate climate control (air quality, temperature, and humidity) and ensure a comfortable work environment.
• General Trades & Fabrication: Handle minor plumbing, fabricate walls, install doors/windows, and perform professional painting/finishing as needed.
• Safety & Sanitation: Proactively identify and eliminate safety hazards. You will also be responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring the workspace remains professional and clutter-free.
• Preventative Action: Implement proactive measures to reduce the risk of future equipment failures and maintain the building's aesthetic value.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a "hands-on" expert who doesn't walk past a problem.
You should have:

• Experience: At least 4 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Technical Breadth: A solid understanding of plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and general construction. Computer-savvy to
• High Standards: A keen eye for detail regarding both mechanical repairs and the general cleanliness of the facility.
• Self-Starter Attitude: The ability to prioritize tasks without constant supervision.

Requirements

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
