We are seeking a Floor Technician that will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring various types of flooring to ensure a safe, sanitary, and visually appealing environment. This role is essential in a facility where cleanliness and presentation matter, such as hospitals, schools, hotels, and commercial buildings.
Perform routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.

- Burnishers
- Auto‑scrubbers
- Extractors
- Stripping machines
Strip, wax, seal, and refinish hard‑surface floors.
Clean and extract carpets using hot‑water extraction or bonnet methods.
Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE when handling chemicals.
Inspect floors for damage, stains, or wear and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform minor troubleshooting.
Ensure all work areas are left clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in janitorial, custodial, or floor‑care work is helpful but not always required.
- Ability to operate floor‑care machinery safely.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Work in environments that may require kneeling, reaching, or repetitive motion.
