Facilities Maintenance

Our client, an established leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting daily operations and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

* ** Shift:
** Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist with basic preventative maintenance (PM) for shop equipment, machinery, and test stands.

+ Perform routine checks such as fluid levels, seals, and filters to ensure equipment is operational and clean.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment across all areas including production floors, breakdown zones, and offices.

+ Ensure safety regulations are followed by keeping emergency exits, eye-wash stations, and walkways clear of obstructions.

+ Handle shop waste fluids/materials properly and assist with disposal according to company guidelines.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance, handiwork, or a similar mechanical role.

+ Ability to multi-task, work well with different departments, and communicate effectively (oral and written).

+ Dependability with a stable work history, strong work ethic, and punctual attendance.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent minimum; aviation experience is a plus but not required.
