Role Description This full‑time Aircraft Detailer role is a hybrid position based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area, with some work‑from‑home tasks when appropriate. On‑site, the Aircraft Detailer will clean and detail aircraft interiors and exteriors, including washing, polishing, paint correction, leather care, and application of protective coatings according to company standards and safety protocols. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include following detailed work orders, using specialized aviation cleaning products and equipment, inspecting completed work for quality, and documenting services performed.
The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety procedures around aircraft and hangar operations, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet scheduling and customer expectations. Remote tasks may include updating service records, completing online training, and coordinating with the team on upcoming jobs and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on detailing skills for aircraft exteriors and interiors, including cleaning, polishing, and protective coating application.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards specific to aviation environments.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to delivering precise, high‑quality work under time constraints.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift moderate weights, and work in and around aircraft, including at varying heights.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Basic computer literacy for scheduling, documentation, and completion of online training or reporting tasks.
- Previous experience in automotive, marine, or aircraft detailing, or related cleaning/maintenance work, preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from airports or hangar locations in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed to meet client and operational demands.
