- Floor Technician with Janitorial Experience.

This position requires Night Shifts with a flexible schedule
, including some weekends, varying shift times, and occasional long hours. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Floor Care
.

This role offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple floor care methods and systems, making it an excellent entry point into a long-term career as a professional floor technician.

Location:

Fort Lauderdale-

Three (3) weeks per month from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (warehouse-based).

One (1) week per month (urgent care): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (warehouse-based).

Occasional open schedule shifts on weekends (Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), depending on business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Experience in waxing and stripping floors.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, tile, and carpets.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Always observe safety precautions.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reports on safety hazards as appropriate.
• Adhere to dress code such wearing company uniform.
• Report to work in a timely manner.
• Always represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
• Comply with all company policies and standard procedures.
• Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of our organization.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience.
• Flexible availability (days, weekends, on call).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check.
• Must be able to pass Drug Test.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting,
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
