Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Maintenance Team Leader responsible for coordinating daily operations, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes.

- Coordinate daily maintenance team operations, including work order management, safety practices, productivity, and materials logistics
- Perform hands-on maintenance duties and actively participate in completing tasks alongside team members
- Provide direct support, coaching, and on-the-job training to develop technician skills and improve performance
- Foster strong working relationships to promote team cohesion and ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead safety initiatives, including new hire safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance work
- Partner with Operational Managers to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency
- Other duties as needed
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security clearance.
- Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in airport maintenance services.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Regularly required to: stand, sit, walk, use hands/fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
- Frequently required to: climb ladders, balance, and work in confined spaces
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work performed in outdoor airport environments, including ramps and around aircraft
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces such as baggage conveyor systems
- Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Strong hand-eye coordination is essential
