Job Description & How to Apply Below

BOND is a rapidly growing private aviation company revolutionizing fractional aircraft ownership and private aircraft management, delivering an elevated and seamless flying experience for discerning clients. Supported by a landmark Bombardier fleet order, we are building a modern fleet of late-model super-midsize and ultra-long-range aircraft and assembling a team committed to operational excellence, safety, and white-glove service.

As we scale toward launch and long-term growth, we are seeking professionals who want to help build a next-generation aviation company and play a meaningful role in shaping how it operates from the ground up.

Role Overview

BOND's flight operations run around the clock, and the Senior Flight Operations Controller is the person the rest of the team leans on when things get complicated.

This role carries real leadership scope: you'll train and mentor junior controllers on SOPs, escalation handling, and shift procedures, and you'll work directly with the Tactical Desk Manager on duty and flight time limitation (FTL) risk management, operational reporting, and process improvement.

You're the right fit if you've built real depth in flight operations control, people already come to you when a call gets hard, and you want a role that formalizes that into escalation ownership and team leadership, working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a true 24/7 environment.

  • Lead coordination of flight releases and operational flight plans in compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Be the crew's primary contact for day-of changes: diversions, replanning, schedule shifts.
  • Oversee ground handling, fueling, and FBO service arrangements at departure, arrival, and alternate airports.
  • Support complex international trip planning, including permits, overflights, customs, and slots.
  • Lead and mentor junior controllers, training them on SOPs, escalation handling, and shift procedures.
  • Support the Tactical Desk Manager on dutywith duty/FTL risk management, operational reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in flight operations, dispatch, or a related aviation control/coordination role.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior controllers, including training on SOPs, escalation handling, and shift procedures.
  • Working knowledge of FAR/AIM regulations, international flight operations, and airspace procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay time-critical information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Part 91, 135, or 121 operational experience.
  • Familiarity with flight planning software and dispatch systems such as Firelight,Flight Bridge, FOS, or comparable platforms.
