Maintenance Laborer

Cargill is seeking a Maintenance Laborer to support safe, reliable operations at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will perform routine equipment inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and facility systems. Duties include cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, assisting skilled technicians, and responding to maintenance requests to minimize downtime. You'll follow strict safety and food-quality standards, document work performed, and coordinate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs and part replacements
• Inspect machinery, conveyors, and building systems for wear or safety issues
• Clean, lubricate, and service equipment to minimize downtime
• Respond to maintenance work orders and production support requests
• Follow all safety, food safety, and cleanliness standards, including LOTODocument maintenance activities and report equipment issues
• Assist skilled technicians during larger repairs and projects
• Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in an orderly condition
• Collaborate with production staff to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks
